Emilia is an experienced lecturer and workshop leader and is occasionally available for guest lectures and workshops in Playwriting, Screen Writing and Writing from Personal Experience. Between 1994 and 2007 Emilia lectured in Writing for Performance at Middlesex University. Emilia has a PhD in the rehabilitation of offenders using drama based techniques and has worked extensively with male and female prisoners and probation clients throughout the UK. She has also worked with various groups including HIV positive clients, survivors of sexual abuse, rape and domestic violence and youth at risk.
